NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

DATE: Sunday, August 30, 2026

TIME: 7:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Green Charter Township Hall

Paris, MI 49338

Please take notice that the Green Charter Township Board will hold a special meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Green Charter Township Hall, at 21431 Northland Drive, Paris, MI 49338.

The purpose of the meeting will be to: (1) with regards to Case No. 1:24-cv-275, Gotion, Inc., v. Green Charter Township, before the United States District Court of the Western District of Michigan, consult with its attorney regarding trial or settlement strategy in closed session in connection with the specific pending litigation as an open meeting would have a detrimental financial effect on the litigating or settlement position of the Township and to consider a confidential written legal opinion on current case status in closed session; (2) potentially direct Township counsel in the case; and (3) any other business that may become before the Board.
